French Toast (Protein)

 

Ingredients (6 slices)

6 thick slices of bread (your choice, crunchy breads like ciabatta work well) 

1 tbsp powdered peanut butter 

1 scoop whey protein 

2 eggs 

Milk 

Method

  • In a bowl whisk the eggs 
  • Slowly add the whey protein and powdered peanut butter 
  • The mix will turn thick, slowly add mix whilst stirring. Continue to mix until the mixture resembles that of pancake mix 
  • Add the sliced bread and allow to soak 
  • In a frying pan (medium heat) add 1tsp of coconut oil allow to melt then add the sliced bread 
  • Cook for 1-2 mins 
  • Flip and cook for a further 2 mins 
  • Serve
