Match Chocolate Chia
Overnight Matcha chocolate chia porridge is a simple no-cook recipe that’s ideally left to sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours before being enjoyed.
Filled with fiber-rich rolled oats, raw cacao, dark chocolate (>70%) and crunch pumpkin seeds, this vibrant matcha [porridge is one that will give any morning an extra dose of healthiness.
Instead of cooking the oats the standard way, with water or milk, they are instead soaked in milk/Greek yogurt/ water to soften. Making overnight oats in a jam jar is an effortless way to create a single serve, portable portion for work or school making a healthful, easy, and tasty breakfast for any busy morning.
50g Rolled Oats
1 tsp Raw Cacao
1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
1 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder (a little extra for a decorative sprinkle on top)
300ml milk (Almond/ hazelnut/ coconut/ cows/ soya… )
Dark chocolate 2 squares (>70%)
1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds.
- place all the above in an air tight jar and leave in the fridge over night
