Harissa Chicken Stew



4 Chicken breast 

1 Tbsp Harrisa spice 

600g sweet potato 

1 tin chickpeas

1 chicken stock cube 

600ml passata (chopped tomatoes) 

2 garlic cloves 

1 large white onion 

300g broccoli 


  1. In a large saucepan sauté the onion, garlic 
  2. Add diced chicken and cook on a medium to high heat for 3-4 minutes 
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and chicken stock 
  4. Add the diced sweet potato and chickpeas 
  5. Cover with the lid and reduce the heat to gently simmer for 20-25 mins on a low to medium heat
